A Landscape

...this sketchbook page was supposed to be a landscape.  But then I ended up adding a baboon-bottomed Grendel surrounded by a bunch of soldiers; soldiers who appear to be politely requesting that he release the damsel with whom he has apparently absconded.

The red hooded man in the foreground is ready for some action, the rest of them look a bit timid.

...which is understandable, the creature is large.  And oddly shaped...

One of the soldiers has decided to hang back and stay completely out of any ensuing shenanigans...
