[it's great!]
In the city of Atlanta, at one point, there was a hockey team.
They were called the Bashers (or the Mashers or something) and they were great because hockey is super! I saw them play, once, down at Phillips Arena.
Man, it was super fun!
There was a lot of skating around in circles and puck slapping and I think we, as an audience, were all relieved that not a single one of those stand-and-punch-each-other-in-the-helmet hockey fights took place.
Like many sports, hockey has cheerleaders. Unlike many sports, sports which tolerate dancing and frivolity and silliness from their cheerleaders, hockey makes its cheerleaders work. Each cheerleader is assigned a broom or a shovel and whenever there's a timeout, they clock in, skate onto the ice, and begin cleaning.
They looked like they were (or should've been) freezing.
Sadly, I had to leave before the game was over.
But what an exciting experience! It was almost as thrilling as a Brave's baseball game!
It was really a shame when the Dashers left for another city.
Atlanta was in mourning for months.
There you have it folks, another exciting episode of "CREEKING MORE IN THE ATL (with your host Nate Creekmore)"! Be sure and come back for the next installment, and in the drawing where you see me sleeping at a Braves game, that giant foam finger would've been a giant foam tomahawk but giant foam fingers are far easier to draw and I will not spend all my time sitting around drawing giant foam tomahawks, thank you very much.
