Two Fairly Reasonably Priced Books

Last year, I made a several of my books (books written and illustrated by me) available for purchase.  They were hardcover, coffee table deluxe editions and they were excessively expensive.  If you happen to own any of them, congratulations.  You are now the owner of what book collectors call a rare book, because these books will never again be available... not as deluxe editions.

Two of my books (Creeking More In The ATL Volume 3 and Green Eyes, Dark Hair, And Sensible Shoes) are now available as more reasonably priced softcover editions.

First, we have Creeking More In The ATL Volume 3:

6x9 inches
full color
102 pages
$24.99

Every collected volume of Creeking More In The ATL has a cover that depicts an Atlanta area sculpture and the cover of Volume 3 features a tastefully censored illustration of those colossal sculptures that dance shamelessly in front of the Sun Trust Plaza in downtown Atlanta.  Volume 3 collects a total of ten CMATL episodes.  You can find every episode online if you take the time to dig through my old blog posts, but if you prefer a printed book, Volume 3 is the way to go.

Here's the playlist:

Episode #47  Tracy McGrady

Episode #57  MARTA Girl

Episode #24  Hip Hop Zombies

Episode #30  Clubs (and Whatnot)

Episode #3  Prophets

Episode #15  The gods

Episode #40  200 Pounds

Episode #35  Football

Episode #9  Loneliness

Episode #52  In The Street

And then there's Green Eyes, Dark Hair, and Sensible Shoes:

6x9 inches
full color
114 pages
$24.99

This book is a collection of illustrated stories (graphic novellas) that I put together slowly and deliberately over the course of three years.  There are seven stories in total and each one has a different illustrated look.  This book is my magnum opus.

Here are the stories included in the book:

The Story of Humphrey

The Story of Carlos

Pachydermis

2 Cents

Green Eyes, Dark Hair, and Sensible Shoes

Ike's Halloween

...and my favorite, Maynard:  A Tale of the Christ

If I had to assign these two books a rating, "G" being Happy Huggy Folks:  The Care Bears Movie and "R" being Braveheart 2:  The Return of Zombie Wallace, I'd say they rate about a solid PG-13; Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (an apt comparison; my books also feature scenes wherein hearts are torn out of people's chests).

If you're a regular reader of the Creekification Blog (and why wouldn't you be?), you will like both of these books.

Cheers.
