So let us remember Kevin Durant in our thoughts and prayers as we continue in our study of The Gospel of Jordan.
"I'm back."
With these words, on March 18, 1995, Michael Jordan prophesied concerning his imminent return from the depths of baseball (where he had descended because of our disbelief).
As soon as St. Pippen heard it said, "I'm back", he put on his warm-ups and ran to Market Square Arena in Indianapolis.
The other disciples of Jordan followed behind on the team bus, for they were not far from Market Square Arena. And Michael Jordan appeared that night, in the flesh, to many; and Reggie Miller was among them also.
Some few still refused to believe and denied him saying, "Unless I see him score 50 or more points in a game, and behold him as he lays a beating on the Knicks of New York (as he did in days of old), I will not believe."
Not long thereafter, the disciples of Jordan were gathered together at Madison Square Garden and Jordan also appeared and bade them, "Stay here and keep watch, lest ye also be led astray."
And, after he had scored 55 points against the Knicks of New York and broke their hearts (as was his custom), many believed on Jordan and proclaimed, "Surely this man is the savior of basketball!"
He who has ears, let him hear the story of Michael Jordan, the Son of (a) Man (named James Jordan, Sr.).
"...the fool says in his heart, 'Kobe is greater than Jordan'..."
