Heracles

Okay boys and girls, I'm currently bogged down with a couple of freelance projects (and I'm finishing up the last few ink lines and brush strokes of a major project of my own...) so the only thing you're likely to get from the Creek Blog for the remainder of the summer is sketchbook pages.  But luckily for you, my sketchbooks are filled with endlessly fascinating, thought-provoking images of life, love, and the human condition, like this one of Hercules choking the life out of a centaur to save a damsel in distress:
