Where's Waldo?

Folks!  You've come back!  And boy have I got a treat for you today!

Remember Where's Waldo, those books you could get from the Scholastic Book Order pamphlets your teacher used to pass out in elementary school?  They had expansive, intricate drawings of crowds and you had to squint at them and try to find Waldo in his red-striped shirt and cap?  Well guess what?  I've made one!

Look closely and see if you can spot him!

No?  Can't see him yet?  Try looking closer...

Still nothing?  Well, keep looking.  Maybe he's over by the girl with the mask...

Nope.  Maybe he's over on the right with the guy with the beard.

...have you tried over by the pumpkin-headed king..?

...want a hint?  Okay, go back over to the frog in the Mongol helmet...

Get closer.  Lean in.  Anything yet?

Come on guys!  HE'S RIGHT THERE!!  Do you really not see him?  Look over at the swirly thing on the side of his head.

You see him now, right?  No?  Are you joking?  He's right in front of your face!  I'm embarrassed for you.

This is shameful.  Seriously.  OPEN YOUR EYES!

Now do you see him?  Yes..?

Finally!!!  ...or could you just not see him because he's black...?

I think we all learned a valuable lesson today.

Cheers.

    1. It's very simple. No one will look at my paintings, even when they're large and detailed like this one. So instead of just posting it by itself, I added a "Where's Waldo?" angle to get some more page views. It didn't quite work, but I think it was worth a shot.

I think the formula for a winning Creek blog post is Quick Cartoony Sketches + Witty/Silly Words.
