Flu-like Symptoms

I spent much of last week fighting with an annoying case of Near Death, a condition brought about by my decision to consume an old yam for lunch on Sunday afternoon and/or some expired milk earlier that morning.  As I laid on the floor of my apartment for several consecutive days, drifting precariously between this world and the next, much time was spent in fevered thought and half-dreamed reflection.

...but no thought was spent on what I might post on the blog this week.  So this week's post will be one of those ones where I cheat and just post some old sketches.  Here you go, folks, old sketches:

Here's a not even halfway finished pencil drawing of a wolf I saw in a National Geographic magazine:

Here's another one based on a National Geographic photograph; a man in Yemen:

Here's a sketchbook page featuring a stick woman and a sketch of one of the sculpture's in a Medici tomb:

And here's a sketchbook page with the Brementown Musicians on it:

There's a Muppet version of the Brementown Musicians that I liked a lot as a child.  Back then, when I got sick, my mom would put me in bed and bring me soup and tell me that everything would be okay.  Which is way better than just laying on the floor until you can move again.
